Asian Monetary Policy Forum 2021

ampf21-ebanner.jpg

The AMPF is an annual flagship event co-organised and co-funded by the Asian Bureau of Financial and Economics Research (ABFER), University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Since its inception in 2014, the Forum has steadily established itself as a valuable platform for central bankers, policymakers, academics, and private sector analysts to discuss pressing monetary policy issues and challenges confronting Asia.

For 2021, a Special Edition of AMPF has been organised by the MAS and Bank for International Settlements (BIS) on the topic of macro-financial stability policy in advanced and emerging market economies, in particular, the role of macroprudential policies in safeguarding financial stability and complementing monetary policy in the context of international spillovers. It continues to receive support from ABFER, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the NUS Business School. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Forum will take place virtually from 26 to 28 May 2021.
